Milton receives letter from Attorney General’s Office

Why vote Yes on 2/13?  Because the consequences of non-compliance aren't speculative, they're right on our doorstep.  On January 16, the Attorney General sent Milton a letter not only making it plain that the office is paying close attention to the vote, but also reminding the town that the office stands willing and ready to enforce the law.  So much so, in fact, that it instructed the town to preserve all documents relating to our compliance efforts — an instruction that signals the AGO is contemplating filing a lawsuit should Milton vote no.
